(5 STARS) I did receive my cd's and just love listening to it. I find it to be so uplifting and hearing the violin just makes you want to get up and dance. This music is so refreshing and love listening to it in my truck. Waiting to get more music from them and also with Rice and Gravy song that Bill Mack plays on his show. It is so nice to hear good music from the young people and especially from Louisiana. We love Cajun Music.......

I saw the "family", with many extras, perform at the Family Festival in Baton Rouge for newly elected Governor Bobby Jindal's inauguration festivities. They also performed on inauguration day. Very entertaining, energetic and wonderful musicians. Bought one CD for myself and 2 others for gifts. Can't wait to see them again and hope their next CD comes soon. If you get a chance to see or hear this family, don't pass it up.

I degree with the review of Dan Wilging about the cd Ca C'est Bon of L'Angélus. It's a pleasure for the ears to listen to this kind of music and it's truth you can hear the Irish influences in their songs so this cd is a nice mixture of Acadian Cajun celtic music. Never heard of these guys til Bill Mack featured them one day on his show. I just downloaded this album and it is awesome!! I'd have to say its the best country/cajun album yet. Too bad that "Rice & Gravy" is not on here cause everytime Bill plays that song on his show it makes me hungry for some rice and gravy...LOL!

... can enjoy this music. I don't know which I like better, their quick tempo, excellent vocals, the way the songs tell a story (something sorely lacking these days), or the fact that they're so cheerful, lyrically. It's probably all four. Slowly, I will convert the others to this genre. Hope they make it out to the hostile lands of Northern California sometime.

WOW!!! I not only listened to this CD over and over but was blessed to meet Katie, Paige, John, and Stephen, four highly talented and energetic young people full of life and charisma. Their music is a breath of fresh air. Contemparary country music has nothing on this group of musicians!!!!!! Everyone, including top music legends, need a copy of this album. I bought one for me and one as a gift for the retiring orchestra director. I know he will love it because this cd includes a great mix of tunes and these kids are amazing! It gets my 7 year old and I dancing in the den every time we play it and it makes me homesick. WE LOVE IT and can't wait to catch the group live, hopefully on our next visit back home.

I have been enjoying Cajun music and dance for many years now and L'Angelus is climbing to the top of my list of favorite bands. I had the pleasure of hearing this band live and they are really great! I also was blessed to meet some of the family and the kindness and warmth of the Rees family is quite inspirational. I bought CDs for all my friends. My young children love the music as well. It’s good clean fun for the whole family. My father listens to his everyday and even sings the songs and dances with the grandchildren to it, he couldn't of asked for anything better. Of course, when I try to put multiple "v's" in a row, they tend to look like "w's". I loved the first album they put out. I bought "Ca C'est Bon!" before it became an album (the short version) and immediately copied both of them to my computer.
